I have been known to eat matzah in solidarity with my husband. It's not bad with some good hummus or other such dip.

not sure why my reply was deleted but here it is again.

Thanks for commenting, and sorry you can relate. Bugger Off! is unfortunately not particularly unique.

I need to learn more about this. I know nothing about what happened in Egypt after Israel found its independence. Where should I go to learn more about this? Also, have you commented on the current situation in Palestine? Thank you for opening my ears.

Unfortunately, I'm not nearly well informed enough to steer you in the right direction. When I go looking for info, it seems everyone has an agenda on one side or the other. Alas, the human brain. If I find something relevant, I promise I'll share but in general my interest is in personal stories and of course, in telling my own. Seems to me that very few (including myself) are truly qualified to comment on Palestine and Israel, particularly when we're flooded with misinformation, but when I do have something to say on it, it's going to be based on my personal experience mainly because it's the only thing I know.

I'd love to see a ReTelling of the entire Torah by you, in words and cartoons!

Ah the entire Torah Á la R. Crumb? I truly wish I had the time. I grew up on it and find it endlessly fascinating. I probably have hundreds of biblical pieces in one form or another - drawings, written, sculpture, paintings. They'll all be shared eventually if you stick around long enough. See how I blackmailed you?

Don’t forget the prunes 😉. Your family is so interesting, looking forward to more of the history from whence you came. Love your humor.

Prunes, of course - we'd be up shit's creek without them. You were asking for that pun. Thanks for reading.
