So we also did Peds not less. Auto correct ugggh and she was well known to the Doc and her sats ( oxygen percentage) were always in the 80s. But to be honest I think me taking the chair at the head of the table was to let Me know, not them, that I had nothing to be afraid of!!!
I like the dream or parable thanks for sharing. I am not sure why it was though that the speaker didn’t sit on stage in a chair next to the blue chair or even in the blue chair why couldn’t she bring herself to do that? I am reminded of when I was a brand new nurse in rural Michigan I was maybe 25. It was a 28 bed hospital we did general surgery, labor and delivery, less, med/ surg, ER it was 1985. On night shift there was 2 RNs and an LPN in the building alone. One night I was the RN assigned to the ER and we had an older woman with COPD come in she was in distress I assessed her and called the Doc to come in we gave her some Nebulizer treatments and some SoluMedrol. She was maybe 87 and well known to the Doc her says we’re always in the 80s but he decided to have her transferred by ambulance to the hospital in the city. She died the next day. The family sued everybody. Long story sorry but I was called in to give my deposition to the little country hospital’s lawyer I was the first one to walk into the board room and I took the head chair big leather high back at the end of the long table and settled myself and watched them all come in and sit to either side of me. I had done nothing wrong and I wanted them all to know I was not afraid
I have no idea how to interpret this, but you sure got my attention, Orli. The art work is delightful.
Oh, NO, Orli. SIT WHEREVER YOU WISH. IF NOT, YOU'LL REGRET IT LATER.
Sit! Sit in the chair!!!
A great big hug to that part of you who feels small and unworthy. She deserves to sit in the comfy blue chair, oh yes indeed.

I love this dream and how you told it :). A sentence comes to mind: where do I belong?
